Colonel (Ret.) Timothy Cole joins OBXtek as Business Development Executive
McLean, VA, October 25, 2021 – OBXtek Inc. has hired Timothy Cole as a Business Development Executive. In this role, Mr. Cole will lead the business development and capture activities for our Acquisition Support and Program Management Center of Excellence.

Prior to joining OBXtek, Mr. Cole worked as Chief, Space Force Acquisition and Planning for the Directorate of Space Acquisition in SAF/AQ. In this role, he led high power teams to deliver a new space acquisition system, develop a new Space Service Acquisition Executive organization, and analyzed the merits of consolidating Department of Defense space programs at all classification levels into Space Force.
Mr. Cole, a retired Colonel, previously served in the U.S. Air Force for 27 years where he led satellite operations, developed launch vehicles to insert National Security Satellites into orbit, and launched targets for the Missile Defense Agency and the Army’s Lower Tier Project Office.
He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology, an MBA from University of Phoenix, and an M.A. in Organizational Management from The George Washington University, and Air Command and Staff College.
