OBXtek promotes Jason Tremper to Director, Information Technology

McLean, VA, January 9, 2024 – OBXtek Inc. has promoted Jason Tremper to Director, Information Technology. In this role, Mr. Tremper is responsible for managing the organization’s multifaceted cloud environments, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and conducive to sustained productivity. 

“Since joining in 2016, Jason has implemented advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect our data and IT infrastructure, while simultaneously fostering an environment that supports continuous operational flow,” said Dale Spencer, OBXtek president and CEO. “Jason has deep technological expertise and a strong passion for the ever-evolving world of technology. I look forward to seeing him grow in this role.”

Mr. Tremper joined OBXtek in 2016 as a Tier II help desk associate for OBXtek’s contract with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Department of Transportation (DOT). In this role, he provided tier II technical support and managed network assets, which contributed to IT initiatives and records digitization projects. He was then promoted to Help Desk Manager at OBXtek headquarters, where he led the design and security of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments for over 550 users. His management of an ISO-compliant Help Desk, using the ITIL framework, ensured robust information security and operational efficiency.

Mr. Tremper holds an Associate of Applied Science in Information System Management from Thomas Nelson Community College. He is a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate – Office 365.
