OBXtek secures CMMI reappraisal at Maturity Level 3 for Development and Services
McLean, VA, February 2, 2022 - OBXtek Inc. announced that it has received a benchmark appraisal for the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® for both Development and Services at Maturity Level 3. The appraisal was performed by Williamsburg Process Solutions, LLC.
CMMI is a process improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. OBXtek was successfully appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Development in 2015 and added CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Services in 2018.

An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates OBXtek is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. OBXtek’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.
