OBXtek wins contract to support General Services Administration (GSA) Data Center Consolidation

OBXtek has been selected by the GSA to provide data center consolidation and virtualization services in support of the Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative. On the contract OBXtek will support the Office of Chief Information Officer providing analysis, design, and migration of the IT services and capabilities from the Bannister Data Center in Kansas City and regional office buildings located throughout the country. The Bannister complex provides enterprise IT capability used by all GSA employees to conduct day-to-day operations. In addition, the data center supports continuity of operations plan, disaster recovery operations and business line specific applications across all organizations of GSA.
