Logistics Management

OBXtek's support for the Army National Guard Air and Ground Operations Tempo (OPTEMPO)  focuses on operations and management support for the Army National Guard (ARNG) Air and Ground OPTEMPO Financial and Operational Management, Institutional Training Financial and Operational Management, Logistics Operations (LOC) Management, OPTEMPO Information System Management, Future Plans Management, Reconstitution and Modernization Management, Analysis of Costs of ARNG RESET Team Combat Support/Combat Service Support (CS/CSS) Equipment and Operations, Second Destination Transportation (SDT) Management, Select Commodity Management, Ammunition Requirements Management, Pre-Mobilization Certification of Training Management, Product Control Management, Annual Training Program Management, and assistance in the Development of ARNG 350-series Regulations.

Training

OBXtek personnel assist the National Guard Bureau (NGB) creating and maintaining a Course Management Plan (CMP), Terminal Learning Objectives (TLOs), and Program of Instruction (POIs) of  areas of Joint Military and Interagency Training, National Guard Joint Force Development and Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA), including support to NGB Army and Air Directorates, the Joint Staff and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive (CBRNE) Response Enterprise (CRE) elements. Our Senior Instructors teach, assess, evaluate, and document student progress through formal evaluation procedures ensuring all curriculum is delivering the intended learning outcomes. We also support the NGB with the analysis of individual training requirements, and perform cost analysis to support in identifying any deficiencies in training products and programs. 

Budget Analysis

OBXtek provides Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) support to our DoD  customers. This support includes the definition and examination of alternative strategies, trend analysis, threat, technology, and economic assessments to understand both change and the  implications on current strategies.  We analyze and prepare charts, exhibits, briefs and information papers to defend both current year and budget year funding as well as Program Objective Memorandum (POM) requirements.  OBXtek personnel help to  formulate, justify, execute, and control of the budget.  

Professional Services

At the Department of State OBXtek personnel have provided professional support services on over 200 task orders supporting 14 offices and bureaus.  These mission support service requirements are diverse and include policy development, social media support, graphics development, speech writing, auditing, management analysis, public affairs, grants support, travel management, and traditional logistics support.  The support of this diverse set of requirements provides OBXtek a broad based understanding of what it takes to support DoD and Federal Civilian agencies in today's environment.

Acquisition

For the Department of Homeland Security OBXtek personnel perform the full range of acquisition management support services including pre-award preparation, post award preparation, policy and quality assurance, contract administration and contract management, acquisition project management, financial management, records management, and property management.

Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR)

OBXtek provides audit financial readiness to the Department of Defense (DoD) by identifying and rationalizing key controls against Government Accountability Office (GAO) audit principles and providing instruction updates and improvements to documentation and systems resulting in qualified opinions. Our coverage areas include: Financial Operations Audit Readiness overseeing both General Fund (GF) and Working Capital Fund (WCF) financial operations; Information Systems Operations Audit Readiness improving information systems operations policy, processes, standard operating procedures, and management internal controls; Business Architecture Development and Policy and Procedure Improvement; and Causative Research in Support of Physical Inventory & Related Property.

Sgt. with SUAS

OBXtek was engaged by the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) to manage the JTAC program; from overseeing JTAC upgrades, ensuring the continuity and development of training programs, and managing compliance with AFSOC and USSOCOM (U.S. Special Operations Command) regulations.

The mission of Air Force Special Operations Command Special Tactics Groups (STG) is to train, organize, and equip Special Tactics (ST) forces for rapid worldwide employment in support of U.S. air and ground forces.

As a qualified external partner, OBXtek provides direct support to 11 of AFSOC’s Special Tactics Groups and Special Tactics Squadrons by training, managing, and providing oversight to all aspects of the Joint Terminal Attack Control program.

National Guard Bureau

OBXtek was engaged by the National Guard Bureau’s Joint Training & Exercise Division to work with the Israeli Defense Force with the end-state of refining how the National Guard responds to both manmade and natural disasters.

The Operations Directorate (NGB-J3/4/7) assists the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commanders, Department of Homeland Security, State Adjutants General, and the National Guard Bureau in supporting plans, programs and activities, training, and exercises.
