IV & V Services

Our Independent Verification & Validation Services are based on the IEEE Std. 1012 – 2004 – Standard for Software Verification and Validation. 

Our Verification process is an in-process activity performed concurrently with software development throughout its different phases. In other words, it is an assessment of whether we are building the product right. 

Our Validation services are user oriented and are typically performed after the software is developed, to determine if the software correctly implements the requirements. It helps answer the question, “did we build the right product?”

 Now that the dust has settled a bit on the production issues we were having, I wanted to recognize the OIS team for all of their support during that time.  They made it their number one priority to make sure that OIS would be available to the field users as quickly as possible.  This entailed long days and nights and supporting the T5 to M5000 migration over the July 4th holiday weekend/week. I know OIS was down for a couple of business days but I can assure you that if not for this team's efforts, it would likely have been much longer downtime for the end users.

I just wanted to take a second to recognize to your employee for all of his hard work. Over the last few months, I have been bombarding him with e-mails for a wide variety of reference data updates(large standards,updates, city/county additions, coding issues, orphan record issues, etc). He has been turning these requests around in 24 hours or less and in many cases the same workday where possible. It makes my job so much easier from a help desk standpoint to get the tickets closed out quickly and ultimately keep the work moving in the field and the customers happy!
